Love & Promise Jewelers is a true testament to the American Dream. Founded in 1988 by Nancy Chin, our story began with just $2,000, a few strands of pearls, and a heart full of hope. After being laid off from her first job in the U.S., Nancy answered a simple window ad for a bead-stringing position. That opportunity sparked a passion — and with relentless dedication, countless late nights, and the dream of creating a better future for her two children, Nancy built something extraordinary.
Today, her legacy lives on through her daughters, Sharon and Shirley, who carry forward the same heart and vision. Inspired by their family's values of sustainability, hard work, and community, they founded our proprietary line: Rosados Box® — a collection that's 100% designed and handcrafted in-house at our Chicago studio.
Every Rosados Box piece is made with care, intention, and a deep respect for ethical sourcing and heirloom-quality craftsmanship. And while Love & Promise also offers pieces from other talented artisans, we’re proud to say that every item we carry — whether made by our hands or thoughtfully sourced — comes from partners who share our values of fair trade, responsibility, and respect for both people and planet.
